CANCELLATIONS

All the cancellations and changes must be sent to Symposium Secretariat in written form. All refunds will be processed after Symposium. Please send your exact bank account details in the written cancellation.

Refund of the registration fee will be made as follows:

100% refund: in case of cancellation received before April 29th, 2026.
No refund: in case of cancellation, received after April 29th, 2026.

CURRENCY

The official currency in Poland is the Polish Złoty (PLN), divided into 100 groszy (gr). Cards are widely accepted in cities and tourist areas, with Mastercard and Visa being the most common. Contactless payments and digital wallets (Apple Pay, BLIK) are standard, though carrying some cash is recommended for small shops.

ELECTRICITY

The electrical power supply in Poland is 230 volts at 50 Hz. Japanese, UK, USA and other visitors: please note that in Poland Type E and sometimes also C electrical plugs are used.

LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

The organizers cannot accept liability for any personal accidents, loss of belongings or damage to private property of participants and accompanying persons that may occur during the meeting. Participants are advised to make their own arrangements to obtain health, travel and property insurance before their departure to the 12th ISCNP.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

Citizens of more than 60 countries do not need a visa to enter the European Schengen area, including Poland. In this case they can come to Poland just on the basis of a valid travel document (e.g. passport). However, the total stay on the territory of one and/or all the Schengen states cannot exceed 90 days within each 180-day period.

Citizens of all other countries must obtain a visa in order to enter and stay in Poland legally.

Opportunity for PHD Students and Academic Staff: NAVA PROM Short-Term Academic Exchange Programme

Participants of the 12th International Symposium on Chromatography of Natural Products are invited to consider an additional opportunity to take part in the event through the NAWA PROM – Short-Term Academic Exchange Programme, coordinated by the Doctoral School of the Medical University of Lublin (Poland)The NAWA PROM programme supports short-term academic mobility and is co-funded by the European Union. It enables PhD students and academic staff from selected countries to combine participation in an international scientific conference with a short research or academic stay in Lublin.

 Who can apply?
Applications are open to:

  • PhD students
  • Academic staff (researchers and lecturers)

from countries eligible under the NAWA PROM programme.
The full list of eligible countries is defined in the official PROM eligibility table (please see the table).

 Available mobility slots
For visiting PhD students:

  • 2 short-term stays of 5 days
  • 4 short-term stays of 7 days

For visiting academic staff:

  • 5 short-term stays of 5 days
  • 3 short-term stays of 7 days

(The duration includes travel days.)

 What costs are covered?
Participants financed through the NAWA PROM grant may receive funding to cover:

  • travel costs, and
  • accommodation in Lublin during the stay.

Please note that:

  • the symposium fee is not covered by the grant and must be paid independently by each participant.
